All of our aluminum used in the manufacturing of interstate highway guide and regulatory warning signs goes through a chemical etching and corrosion treatment process. In Interstate SignWays’ 169,000 square foot facility, we house our own chemical etching and corrosion treatment tanks. This allows us to maintain a higher level of quality control and production capacity. Each piece of flat sheet, increment and extruded panel aluminum is dipped into a chemical bath. This process etches the aluminum panel’s service to ensure better adhesion of the guide sign sheeting as well as provides increased corrosion protection.
We have been purchasing signs from Interstate SignWays for over 20 years. The knowledge of their staff, the quality of their work and their service is exceptional. We look forward to working with them for many more years. Dan Williams, Vice-President Safety Contractors, Inc.
